Cowboy Cinema #1

Hello everyone, and welcome to the first blog article of Cowboy Cinema, written by yours truly, Channing Whitworth. You're probably wondering what this is going to be about, so I won't tell you! Nah, just kidding, I wouldn't do that to you ;)

Basically, each month, I will be posting an article about wild west movies and tv shows that have been made! Of course, I will give a bit of a summary of it, and my personal rating. If you'd like, you can suggest the next movie or tv show that I review in the comments, as well as your thoughts on each of the show/movie that is highlighted in each article, for I would love to hear your opinions!

First on the agenda is one of my favourite shows of all time, Sugarfoot! Sugarfoot was officially debuted in 1957, and Will Hutchins played the main role of Sugarfoot, of course. The show aired from 1957 to 1961, with a total of 69 episodes in the 4 seasons of it. It was a black and white tv show, like many were back in those times, despite colored tvs started around 1651 in the United States, since many households could not afford them.

So, the plotline of the series starts with a man by the name of Tom Brewster, who is an aspiring attorney, who moves out to the west to seek a new future and fortune. However, because of the fact that he was from the East, Brewster wasn't exactly the usual cowboy, and was a very peaceful man, unlike many from the West who would rather settle things with a gunfight(which is fairly smart, if I do say so myself). Because of his nature, Brewster earned the nickname of 'Sugarfoot'.

So, what do you guys think of that? Sounds interesting, right? Maybe you'll go and watch a few episodes for yourself! As for me, I'd have to give this show around a 7.5 out of 10(I'm a fairly harsh judge, you see). Regardless, it has a wonderful storyline and great actors! Well, I better go ahead and sign off of here, so until next time!
