What is this? It is a western movie set in 1870 about a man who had fought in the Civil War who crosses paths with a young girl who had been taken by Indians. Is this thrilling enough for you? No, well, let me give you more of the chilling details.

This man is Captain Kyle Kidd (played by Tom Hanks) who escorts this young girl (played by Helena Zengel) who had been kidnapped by Indians. Kidd is set on returning this girl back to her remaining family in Texas.

Need more information on this Captain? Well for starters, he travels around the United States reading the news in various towns. During his journey with this young girl who he names Johanna, they encounter various types of violence. Guns, shootings, deaths, a field of dead buffalo, fights, injuries, and more. Sadly, I have to refrain myself from giving away the very good details that I know you would find gripping.

As for the rest of the movie, there is mild swearing. In some scenes you see people in saloons drinking. Guns, drinking, shootings, horses, Indians; you asked for it. All the adventure can be found in this thrilling movie. This movie can be found on Netflix and other streaming services.
